Global K-pop sensation BTS will return with a new full-length album on March 20, marking the group’s highly anticipated comeback as a full unit, according to Big Hit Music.

On Sunday at midnight, BTS announced via global fan platform Weverse that its fifth full-length album will be released March 20.

The new release marks BTS’ first full-group comeback in nearly four years, since anthology album “Proof” in June 2022. It will also be the group’s first full-length release in over six years, since “Map of the Soul: 7” in February 2020.

The upcoming album will feature 14 tracks. True to BTS’ identity as artists who have consistently expressed their inner thoughts and social commentary through music, the album is expected to capture the essence of the group’s current state. According to the group’s label, BTS focused intensively on the production process in the second half of 2025, collaboratively shaping the direction of the album while infusing it with their personal reflections.

Each track reportedly delves into the emotional journeys and introspection experienced by the bandmates over the years, while also expressing deep gratitude toward fans, collectively known as Army. The album is both a continuation of BTS’ ongoing narrative and a heartfelt message to their global fan base.

Further heightening anticipation, BTS announced that details of upcoming world tour will be unveiled on Jan. 14. This will mark the group’s first major tour since “Permission to Dance on Stage,” which concluded in Las Vegas in April 2022.

Ahead of their upcoming release, the group has launched a new official website — www.2026bts.com — as part of their comeback promotions. Updates on the album and the world tour will be posted on the website in the coming weeks.
