Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has launched his own SiriusXM show, “Lars’ Deep Dive,” with the premiere episode broadcasting via the satellite radio company’s Maximum Metallica channel (Ch. 42).
The first episode focuses on AC/DC, with Ulrich playing his favorite deep cuts from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band. The episode premiered on Monday, but will rebroadcast on Tuesday at 3 p.m.; Wednesday at 1 p.m.; Thursday at 12 p.m. and 9 p.m.; Friday at 4 p.m.; and Saturday at 3 p.m. (all times ET). It’s also available on demand to SiriusXM subscribers.
Metallica’s long-running M72 World Tour will continue this year with a new UK/European leg set to kick off in late May (pick up tickets here). Gojira, Knocked Loose, Pantera, and Avatar will provide support.
