Come what may, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban will always be there for each other ’til the end of time.
Three months after the Moulin Rouge actress filed to legally end her 19-year marriage to the “Somebody Like You” singer, the former couple has officially finalized their divorce, according to legal documents obtained by E! News.
In the filing, written into law by a judge in Tennessee Jan. 6, the docs confirmed both Nicole and Keith agreed to waive all rights to child and spousal support, making each parent responsible for their own legal fees and expenses.
Additionally, all property including household furniture, appliances, vehicles, bank accounts, investments, and personal items will be divided to the mutual satisfaction of both parties, with each maintaining ownership of their possessions.
And Keith and Nicole—who share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14—also settled on a plan for the custody of their kids, with the Big Little Lies star spending 306 days a year with their daughters while the “One Too Many” singer will have every other weekend with the girls, totaling 59 days. (The custody plan echoes the parenting plan Nicole had submitted alongside her divorce filing.)

Though a court hearing was initially scheduled for Jan. 6, Nicole waived her right to appear in person. In fact, both parties agreed to settle the filing amicably, avoiding a formal discovery or interrogation.
As the documents state, “Each party indicates that he or she does not want to proceed with formal discovery, including completing interrogatories and requests for production of documents, or discovery depositions, that are designed to discover assets and debts.”
E! News have reached out to reps for both Nicole and Keith respectively but have not heard back.

On Sept. 29, E! News confirmed that Nicole and Keith had been living apart since the beginning of summer. E! News subsequently learned that it was Keith’s decision to separate from Nicole, 58, and she had been working to try and save their marriage.
After all, the Oscar winner has been candid over the years when it came to her relationship with Grammy winner, especially in regard to how quickly she fell for him after the two met at a 2005 gala in Los Angeles.
“It was pretty intense,” Nicole told People in 2019. “I believed by that point he was the love of my life.”
Nicole—who was previously married to Tom Cruise, with whom she shares children Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30—added, “Maybe that’s because I am deeply romantic, or I’m an actress, or I have strong faith as well, but I just believed, ‘Oh, okay, here he is.'”

As for Keith, 57, the country singer had been equally as effusive about their relationship.
“She’s the one that I was searching for my whole life,” he gushed on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast in 2020, “and everything not only changed but had to change in me if I was gonna go that road.”
As Keith added, meeting Nicole was “like the ultimate fork in the road moment.”
“It was literally like you either get this right now or you are never, ever gonna get it right,” he shared. “This is your one shot.”
