KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee volleyball announces another addition to its 2026 roster with the announcement of 2025 ACC All-Freshman Team selection Kennedi Rogers.

“We are really excited to add Kennedi to our program”, said head coach Eve Rackham Watt. “She is a point scorer with great intangibles and she will continue to develop her total game within our system. She proved to be one of the best freshmen in the country last season, and will bring valuable experience. Our staff looks forward to training Kennedi, starting this spring”.

Rogers garnered ACC All-Freshman honors after finishing her first collegiate season with 175 kills on a .272 hitting percentage, 30 blocks, and 53 digs. Rogers had seven contests with double-digit kills, including a season-high 21 against NC State on Nov. 29. Rogers finished the 2025 season with double figure kills in five of her final six matches, a run in which she put up 83 kills at a 3.95 kills per set clip and a .296 hitting percentage. She became just the fifth Mustang to earn conference All-Freshman recognition.

Rogers had two double-double performances on the season, with her first coming in a road match against Louisville where she recorded 10 kills and 10 digs on Oct. 17. Her other double-double came against NC State, where she tied her season-high with 10 digs. Rogers also reached her season-high in blocks in the contest against NC State, with six. In addition to that six block performance, Rogers had five matches with three or more blocks.

Before beginning her collegiate career, Rogers starred at Ridge Point High School. While at Ridge Point, Rogers was ranked a Top-150 Prospect according to PrepVolleyball.com and a Top-15 prospect by PrepDig.com. She was also named a 2025 AVCA Phenom Top 8 Outside Hitter for the state of Texas and a First Team All-District performer. She was named District Most Valuable Player during her junior season and broke her high school’s single season ace record that same season.

Rogers is now the fourth transfer addition for the Lady Vols ahead of the 2026 season. Sun Belt Conference Libero of the Year Marta Lazzarin was the most recent addition to the roster. NCAA triple-double record holder Jalyn Stout joined The Big Orange from Coastal Carolina and Outside Hitter Nia Hall was also recently announced by Tennessee, joining the team from South Carolina.
