It looks like Ice Nine Kills have finished the writing process for their upcoming horror movie, The Slashin’ Of The Christ. Singer Spencer Charnas confirmed the news to Metal Hammer, while also revealing that the band are already talking to film studios and directors.
Charnas shared the following insight into the movie:
“Like everything we do, there’s horror, there’s violence, but there’s a wink to the camera. We’re not taking ourselves too seriously, and I think the world needs a movie like this.”
He then added the following when asked if Christians will take offense to the film:
“I think that it might be like ‘The Exorcist,’ which was touted by the Catholic Church because it showed on-screen what they’ve been talking about.”
He also confirmed that he is hoping to recruit some familiar faces for the project;
“I certainly hope so. And who’s to say who will live and who will die?”
