Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns has admitted she is “mad” over the outcome of Wednesday night’s The Traitors.
The singer starred in last year’s celebrity edition, competing as a Traitor alongside Alan Carr, who eventually won the series.
Last night, Ross Garshong ended up leaving following a brutal round table, with co-stars opting to banish him.
The sales executive and personal trainer revealed he was, in fact, a Faithful, and his banishment left some fans furious, with many citing the elimination as another example of “unconscious bias” among participants in reality TV shows.

The first round table victim of the current series was Judy Wilson, who was accused of acting “suspiciously” very soon into the show.
Netty Österberg was also the first “murder” victim. Some have noted similar patterns from past series, prompting a “race row” and discussions about “unconscious bias”.
Mr Garshong’s banishment on Wednesday added to the debate, with Ms Burns expressing her thoughts following the episode.
Taking to X, she penned: “Ross gone now as well????? now I’m MAD. #TheTraitorsUK.” (sic)

Others gave their view in the comments under her post, with one Traitors viewer writing: “RIGHT! Also why did everyone ignore the painting? Like no one really brought up an actual piece of evidence and dissect who was there.”
“I’m livid!” another penned, while a third fumed: “I know… Really annoying!!!!”
Someone else theorised: “I think the BBC made Cat a traitor to get a black contestant deep into the show as they feared this racism, even in the celebrity class.
“Two black contestants were first to go on Celeb Traitors. Ireland was the only one to have two black players in the last 5.”

“I’m so sad I liked Ross,” another weighed in, with a different fan agreeing: “Gutted for Ross.”
Others argued that race hadn’t come into the decision, though, with one commenting: “I liked Ross but he was set up and with the whole Netty thing there were always doubts. Hoping Jessie wins.”
“Get a life will ya. Its a TV game show. People will leave,” someone else fumed. (sic)
It follows an ongoing debate prompted by each series, with a Reddit post last week addressing such concerns.

Many fans waded into the discussion via a Reddit thread titled “Racial bias?”
One wrote: “The unconscious bias is always SO loud and I’m surprised they don’t coach the group on that ahead of filming.
“It’s always ‘I just don’t trust him/her’ or ‘I just have a gut feeling’ yes hmmmm I wonder what you mean by that! So freaking disappointing, year after year.” (sic)
A second added: “I will say that, in fairness, Ross has just been stitched up by the circumstance of knowing someone else in the game and this would probably always get heat. But they’re always on black women’s necks in this game.”
Representatives for The Traitors have previously been contacted by GB News regarding viewers’ claims of unconscious bias.
