Glass frogs are small amphibians, very common in Central as well as South America, wherein they are known for having the most transparent skin. The organs in the body, such as the heart, liver, and intestines, are visible through the transparent abdomen in these frogs. The most remarkable aspect of these frogs is how they appear non-existent while resting on a leaf, even though they are very real.
All these animals demonstrate just how weird nature is compared to fantasy. Over millions of years of evolution, nature has created beings with bodies and attributes that just don’t seem possible. From amphibians’ ability to regenerate, to the hunting strategies of deep-sea animals, to camouflage in reptiles, all these examples show just how different nature is compared to fantasy.
