Bella Hadid is back in her actress era. After making her screen debut in season 3 of Ramy in 2022, and following it up with a surprise guest role in Yellowstone in 2024 (alongside her real-life cowboy boyfriend Adan Banuelos), the model is coming back to television in Ryan Murphy’s new FX series The Beauty. And fans of Hadid’s vanilla-blonde hair are in for a striking hair transformation.

Hadid posted some behind-the-scenes glimpses and stills from the upcoming show to her Instagram. “The beauty…. @ryanmurphyproductions. @FXNetworks, @Hulu & @DisneyPlus. Premieres 1.21 on FX. Stream on Hulu. @TheBeautyFX | @FXNetworks,” she wrote in the caption to her 61.1 million followers.
There is so much to take in about Hadid’s character, starting with her straggly dark brunette hair, her darkest shade in months. An ad for the show sees Hadid with long wet tresses swept across her neck, while other snaps show her strands styled in a confusing part at the crown of her head and tucked behind her ears.

Hadid appears beat up with a gash on her arm, dirt on her face, and smeared black eye makeup. One photo even shows blood dripping from her eyes and she appears to have lightened eyebrows, bronzy skin, and a matte nude lip.
As for her outfit, she exuded real villain energy in a blood-red get-up, composed of super high-waisted, cinched leather pants and a matching cropped jacket that she wore undone and over nothing but a teeny-tiny, plunging bra. Coordinated gloves finished everything off.
Hadid included the show’s trailer in slide four, which sees her hitting someone in the face with a pan and facing off against armed police. “I’m the world’s greatest God damn advertisement for the hottest new super drug that makes you effortlessly beautifully,” Ashton Kutcher’s character says in the narration.
