Kate Hudson kept her sheer streak going on the “Song Sung Blue” press circuit at the Variety & Golden Globes Pre-Golden Globes Party on Friday in Beverly Hills, wearing a black lace and satin dress from Nina Ricci’s fall 2025 collection.
The long, open neck lace dress combined the structure of a lingerie slip with the length of an evening gown, featuring long floral lace sleeves with ruffled cuffs, along with a sweetheart-style satin bust that created a cutout effect. Sheer lace panels cut across the midsection and upper hips, set between curved satin sections that wrapped the waist and thighs. The skirt continued the play of opacity and transparency, with lace extending from mid-thigh into a semi-sheer, ankle-length hem.

Hudson added small drop earrings and rings, leaving the lace and satin as the main focus. Black open-toe sandals with thin straps and a silver-toned bar detail at the toes showed beneath the hem, paired with a dark manicure and pedicure. She later paired the dress with a black jacket.

The dress comes from Harris Reed’s fall 2025 outing for Nina Ricci, a season he described as “a bit sassy” and “a bit raunchy in the most playful of ways.” WWD’s review noted the collection’s mix of men’s tailoring and boudoir lace, and its pairings of featherlight chiffon with chunky faux fur, underlining the lingerie influence that runs through Hudson’s dress.

In November, Hudson wore a gray-blue Stella McCartney gown with floral lace embroidery and a sheer overlay at the film’s London premiere. December stops included a pastel duchesse top-and-skirt look from Fendi’s fall 2025 collection on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and a green Valentino gown with a semi-sheer cape in New York.
Nina Ricci had a second moment at the Beverly Hills party as well. Teyana Taylor chose a spring 2026 runway look from the label, finished with over-the-knee purple python boots.
