We recently got a good look at the Galaxy S26 Ultra‘s new Privacy Display feature in great detail, after it leaked within Samsung’s own Tips app. But that left one big question: Will it be exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra, or will the S26 and S26+ get it too? There’s only one way to find out.

We teamed up with @damanmikey, the same person who created the Galaxy S26 Ultra spoofer module we used to uncover this new feature. He built a similar spoofer for the Galaxy S26+ instead. This makes any device — including our test device — report to installed apps that it is a Galaxy S26+.

We also used the latest version of the Tips app from the most recent internal builds of One UI 8.5. Thanks to @nirmalsri7 for sharing that with us. We installed the new spoofer module, removed the old one to avoid any potential conflicts, and then rebooted the device to make sure everything applied correctly.

Is Privacy Display going to be a Galaxy S26 Ultra exclusive?

Once the module was active, we confirmed that the Privacy Display card does indeed appear in the Tips app. It plays the same animation we shared previously, along with the same descriptive text, suggesting no functional differences. Here’s a demo showing it in action.

Do bear in mind that this could still change before Samsung officially announces the Galaxy S26 series. This is early internal software, after all, and it’s subject to change at any time.
