Scooter Braun is tuning out the noise when it comes to his romance with Sydney Sweeney.
An exclusive source close to the music producer, 44, tells PEOPLE that Braun is “unfazed” by the negative reactions to the pair’s relationship. “He finds the headlines comical. He seems to be unfazed, as he finds them all very funny,” the insider says.
The source adds: “Sydney and Scooter are totally confident and comfortable in their relationship, and there are no trust issues going on. Things between them are stronger than ever, and they’re in a great place.”
Braun and the Housemaid star, 28, recently took a New Year’s trip together to Europe, where they were seen in Finland and Courchevel, France. More recently, the two were spotted on a date night at Dave & Buster’s in Hollywood, Calif., on Saturday, Jan. 10.

A second source close to Sweeney, meanwhile, tells PEOPLE the actress has “never been happier” amid her romance with Braun. Those in her inner circle find the negative headlines about the pair “very funny because she’s finally with someone who’s completely confident and unbothered by the reports.”
“Sydney and Scooter are in such a good place,” the source adds.
PEOPLE reached out to representatives for both Braun and Sweeney for comment.

The two began dating in September 2025. Early that month, a source told PEOPLE they were “casually” dating, noting that they were both guests at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez‘s June wedding in Venice, Italy, where they hung out a bit.

“Syd was intrigued — Scooter’s a charmer. He’s confident but also sweet and very attentive,” one insider said at the time of the actress’ early impressions of Braun.
On Sept. 30, the pair were spotted holding hands in Los Angeles.
Three months into their romance, a source told PEOPLE that Sweeney and Braun were “going strong.”
“Things between them are great,” the insider said on Dec. 1. “They’re in a committed relationship, and things are serious.”
Braun was previously married to Yael Cohen from 2014 until they split in 2021 and divorced in 2022. Sweeney ended her engagement to businessman Jonathan Davino in March 2025 after about seven years together.
A source previously told PEOPLE that the White Lotus star’s friends and family are “really happy” about her new relationship with Braun. “For them, it’s such a relief to see her genuinely happy,” the source said.
Braun’s friends are equally positive about the relationship, according to the insider.
“They say it’s been a long time since they’ve seen him this settled in a relationship, and they can tell how much he admires her,” they told PEOPLE. “He thinks she’s smart, kind and fun, and she appreciates how he really sees her for who she is beyond all the noise.”
