Judd’s Memphis is back in South Florida with its Winter Break Fried Chicken Pop-Up Series, bringing the brand’s original kosher Southern fried chicken menu to Miami for a limited run. Known for operating as a pop-up–driven concept in recent years, Judd’s Memphis continues to draw strong demand from diners who have followed the brand since its early restaurant days and its more recent appearances in cities across the country.
This Miami activation is designed as a destination pop-up, positioned to serve diners coming from across the region. According to founder Judd Joffre, the location was intentionally selected for its accessibility, sitting roughly equidistant from Aventura, North Miami Beach, Hallandale, and Hollywood. In a market where most dining requires driving and traffic is a given, the site offers comparable travel times even for guests coming from Surfside or Miami Beach. The space is also immediately off I-95 and directly across the street from Topgolf Miami Gardens, making it an easy stop for both locals and visitors.
Menu Highlights
The Winter Break Edition menu focuses on Judd’s core fried chicken offerings, bringing back the original items that built the brand’s following.
The OG Fried Chicken Sando is available in a Classic Southern preparation for $18, or a Memphis Hot version, labeled very hot, for $19. Chicken Tenders are served as a five-piece order and offered in Classic Southern for $17, Memphis Hot for $18, or Fire Popper Sauce for $18.
The menu also includes Poppers, featuring bite-sized fried chicken pieces, priced at $16 for Classic Southern, $17 for Memphis Hot, and $17 for Fire Popper Sauce. French Fries are available for $7, with an option to add fried chicken on top for an additional $7. Canned soda is priced at $3.
A combo option is available, which includes a chicken sandwich, fries, and a drink for $23.
Judd’s Memphis and Its Pop-Up History
Judd’s Memphis is led by Judd Joffre, whose cooking draws heavily from Southern and Memphis-inspired flavors adapted to kosher kitchens. The brand originally operated as Judd’s Memphis Kitchen in Cedarhurst, New York, before transitioning into a pop-up-focused model. Since then, Judd’s has become known for limited engagements that regularly draw strong crowds, particularly during peak travel periods and holiday weeks.
Over the years, Judd’s Memphis has hosted pop-ups in New York City, Brooklyn, and other markets, often selling out and creating repeat demand from diners who may not have had access to the food since earlier restaurant days. For this Miami run, Judd has emphasized that the pop-up will feature the original core menu that longtime fans associate with the brand, offering an opportunity for guests who have not had Judd’s fried chicken in years to revisit those flavors without private catering or city-specific appearances.
Operating Plan and Schedule Approach
The Miami pop-up is expected to begin with a soft opening on a Thursday night, with an evening start time planned between 7:00 and 9:00 pm. That first night is intended to run late, operating until sellout if demand supports it.
Following the initial night, the pop-up is planned to operate every day except Friday. Weekend and weekday operations are expected to include both lunch and dinner service, though Judd has indicated that hours may evolve based on demand. If lunch service proves unnecessary, the schedule may shift toward earlier dinner start times with late-night service instead. The operating model is intentionally flexible, allowing the pop-up to adjust hours and service windows in response to customer interest.

Looking Ahead
In addition to the Winter Break Miami run, Judd has indicated that additional developments may follow these Yeshiva Week pop-ups, including potential updates related to New York and possibly Florida. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the Miami pop-up while it is active, as post–Winter Break plans are expected to be announced after the current series concludes.
