All eyes were on Melania Trump as she and President Donald Trump touched down in the United Kingdom for their second-ever official state visit.
Melania stepped off Air Force One wearing a floor length Burberry trench coat as she walked across the tarmac at London Stansted Airport.
The coat was tightly tied around her waist, paired with a pair of Saint Laurent flat top sunglasses and Christian Dior Empreinte leather riding boots.
But it was her outfit for the state dinner that has people talking.

The First Lady attended the event in a canary yellow, off-the-shoulder gown exposing her collar bone.
The floor length dress by Carolina Herrera was styled with a bold lilac belt cinched around her waist and a pair of nude, pointed toe pumps.
Melania wore her blonde hair loose and pushed behind her shoulder, revealing a show-stopping pair of diamond and emerald earrings.

Since Donald Trump was elected for his second term in office, Melania has been seen wearing more American designers than her previous tenure in the White House, with Carolina Herrerra being helmed by American designer Wes Gordon and producing their clothing in New York.

However, Melania abandoned the trend during the first official events of the State visit, arriving at Windsor castle in a statement hat and suit from a French fashion house.
The First Lady arrived wearing a timeless, dark grey suit by Dior, with her wide-brimmed purple hat stealing the show.

Celebrity stylist and Vogue contributor Marian Kwei told the BBC that the hat hiding the top half of Melania’s face was an intentional decision.
“[It’s] pointing to a stance where she wants all eyes on her husband and his agenda while here,” she said.
Kwei also noted that Melania matching her hat to her husband’s tie was a nod of support for his “agenda”, and that the decision to wear Dior was a nod to America’s support for Europe.
