At-Home Testing as an Alternative to Pap Smear – Within the past month, both the American Cancer Society AND the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force have endorsed an alternative to the traditional Pap Smear – an at-home test for the virus that causes cervical cancer.

Erin Kobetz, PhD, MPH, vice president for health promotion and chief well-being officer at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, is available for interviews.

Dr. Kobetz is and has been a leading advocate for self-sampling.
