The Meteorological Service has issued a “red alert” for strong and unusual winds that will hit Israel from the evening hours, overnight and during the first half of tomorrow. Wind gusts in the coastal area could reach speeds of up to 110 km/h. Additionally, significant flooding is expected mainly in the Judea region, Shfela and the southern coast, with significant flash floods in the northern Negev and Judean Desert.
