Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that super villain Becky Swain will return and threaten her final revenge on wife Lisa in the aftermath of the Corriedale crash

Coronation Street and Emmerdale fans were recently hooked on the historic soap crossover Corriedale – but the drama is far from over. The Weatherfield residents are continuing to come to terms with the horror crash that occurred in early January and took the life of kindly vicar Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) in the process.
Prior to her debut on the ITV soap, Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) was said to have died in the line of duty in 2021, and her wife Lisa had moved on with factory boss Carla Connor (Alison King). But in a surprise turn of events, it emerged that Becky had not died at all and had been living in Spain as part of a corrupt police cover-up, returning to rebuild her family.
As the events of Corriedale unfolded, Becky had locked Carla up in a shipping container, and attempted to flee with fellow police officer Lisa and their teenage daughter Betsy, but DC Kit Green had rescued Carla and they were chasing them along the dark country road. A collision with Emmerdale’s John Sugden led to a further smash when Billy, who was driving the minibus coming back from Debbie Webster’s wedding, swerved in an ill-fated attempt to avoid the chaos.

Later on, Becky was arrested by her own wife, who at this point was laying in the back of an ambulance, and fans presumed that this was the last they would see of the villain. But spoilers have revealed that in scenes coming up next week, Becky be back on the programme, albeit from prison, almost four months after she initially came back from the dead.
Betsy hears Lisa telling Carla that Becky has threatened to take her down with her, and the furious teen visits her villainous mother in prison to give her a piece of her mind. Becky is visibly angry, but viewers will have to wait and see whether she actually follows through with her threat against Lisa.
Carla recently split up with Lisa again after she found out that she had slept with Becky whilst she was kidnapped, but Betsy begs her to stay when she pops round to number six to check on her. Could another Swarla reunion be on the cards or will it all go wrong again?
After causing the crash in the first place, Becky tried to flee again but Carla stopped her. The villain was determined to leave until Lisa called out for her. Becky insisted she’s got to go, but Lisa asked for a goodbye, seemingly sad to see her leave.
Becky leaned over Lisa and tried to kiss her, telling her she loves her. But as she did so, Lisa snapped handcuffs around her wrist and said: “Becky Swain, I am arresting you for theft, GBH…” Carla chimed in as she hugged Betsy with: “And kidnapping!”

But there is hope for fans of Swarla, as they have become known to fans, as Coronation Street producer Kate Brooks recently told us: “Becky was an absolute obstacle thrown their way, and her true colours have absolutely been revealed for all to see. Lisa’s finally kind of realised the extent of the manipulation and the lies that Becky’s told.
“We’ll see them starting to make their way back to each other. There’s a lot to get past, but they love each other, and that love never faltered throughout it at all.
“The ghost of Becky is finally being put to bed. They can move forward with their lives, and they can look forward to their future together.” Confirming a Swarla reunion, Kate teased when the wedding could happen, or at least something “romantic” was on the horizon.
