The wait is finally over! After postponing their launch show, Love Island All Stars is returning to TV screens – with the show confirming the first episode will air tonight.
The show had been scheduled to air on Monday 12 January, but while many of us had prepared to be curled on the sofa with popcorn in hand, ITV announced on Saturday 10 January that the show had been postponed. The decision came after South Africa’s Western Cape (where the villa is located) was hit hard by wildfires.
A statement from ITV read: ‘Further to a production evacuation owing to ongoing wildfires in the area, our assessment of the location site has concluded that filming will need to be postponed. Health and safety is our greatest priority and will always come first, and therefore the transmission of Love Island: All Stars will be delayed until a date to be confirmed.’
The wildfires have certainly proved a devastating start to the year for South Africa. An update made on Sunday morning saw ‘good progress’ made along the border of Groeneweide and Panorama, however day five of the Stanford fire remained ‘challenging.’

When does Love Island All Stars begin?
After a slight delay to initial scheduling plans, Love Island have confirmed that their All Stars spin off will launch tonight, Thursday 15th January, at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
For the first time ever, there’ll also be an extra episode airing on Saturday night (17th January) at 9pm, too.
Confirmation of the launch date seems to back up reports from TV insiders that filming for the show would resume filming on Wednesday 14th January.
Who is appearing in Love Island All Stars?
Confirmed to be part of this year’s All Stars line up is:
Charlie Frederick, season 4
Belle Hassan, season 5
Leanne Amaning, season 6

Whitney Adebayo, season 10

Of course, we’ll also have some bombshells joining the cast. Rumoured to be appearing are season 9’s Olivia Hawkins, season 9’s Samie Elishi, and season 11’s Ronnie Vint. Also said to be getting ready to bombshell is Scott van der Sluis, which would mark his fourth appearance on the show after Love Island 2023, Love Island USA, and Love Island Games.
Here’s hoping for more heart-rate challenges and firepit dramatics!
