The Chungbuk Art Center Construction Project aims to expand key infrastructure to lead the future of performing arts in Chungcheongbuk-do (Chungbuk). This initiative aims to strengthen its position and improve its functions as a leading provincial performing arts facility. Beyond merelyproviding a performance space, theproject aims to serve as a cultural hubthat links and enhances the region’s artistic potential.

In particular, the Concert Hall will function as the home theater and rehearsal space for the Chung-buk Provincial Orchestra. Furthermore, by hosting and producing performances by top domestic and international orchestras and artists, it will have the potential to grow into a leading performance venue representing the central region of Korea. This will in turn broaden access to cultural and artistic experiences for local residents and contribute to the qualitative advancement of the region’s cultural landscape.
