Temperatures across Israel on Friday are expected to be typical for the season, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. Light drizzle to isolated showers are possible in the early morning hours, mainly along the coastal plain.
On Saturday morning, light drizzle to localized rain is again forecast along the coast. By the afternoon, local showers are expected to develop in northern and central Israel. Rain is forecast to intensify toward the evening and continue overnight, while temperatures remain near seasonal averages.
A more significant change in the weather is expected Sunday, with a drop in temperatures and intermittent rain accompanied by isolated thunderstorms from northern Israel to the northern Negev. Localized flooding is possible along the central and southern coastal plain. Flash floods are also possible in streams in the Judean Desert and near the Dead Sea. Snow is expected on Mount Hermon.
On Monday morning, localized rain is still expected, mostly light, particularly in the southern coastal plain, the Shephelah and northwestern Negev. Temperatures are expected to dip slightly further and will be lower than the seasonal norm.
