Thirteen Palestinians were killed on Friday in multiple Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, according to medical officials and field reports. The fatalities occurred in Beit Lahia, Khan Younis, Deir al‑Balah, Nuseirat refugee camp, and Gaza City, marking another day of widespread Israeli violations despite the ongoing “ceasefire” framework announced in October of last year.

In the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli forces shot and killed sixteen‑year‑old Mohammad Raed al‑Barawi in Beit Lahia, while a ten‑year‑old girl died after an Israeli drone strike in the same area.

In the south, a sixty‑two‑year‑old woman, identified as Sabah Ahmed Ali Abu Jamea, was killed west of Khan Younis during extensive demolition operations carried out by Israeli military vehicles.

Israeli naval forces also opened fire on fishermen off the coast of Khan Younis, injuring one, while another resident suffered a critical gunshot wound in the Qizan an‑Najjar area.

In central Gaza, Israeli forces bombed two homes in Deir al‑Balah, killing six Palestinians, including a sixteen‑year‑old.

Three more Palestinians, including a child, were killed in Nuseirat refugee camp when Israeli forces struck the al‑Khatib family apartment.

Another resident was killed in the Nabulsi area of Gaza City. Israeli drones and artillery also targeted several neighborhoods in Gaza City, including Tuffah, Shuja’iyya, and Zeitoun, causing additional injuries and damage.

More than two years of Israeli bombardment have left Gaza buried under an estimated 61 million tonnes of rubble, much of it dangerous.

In related news, Mohammed al‑Basyouni, a freed Palestinian detainee from Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza who had been released twice from Israeli prisons, most recently in the latest prisoner exchange, died today after sustaining severe injuries during the recent storm.

According to local sources, the tent he was sheltering in was blown off the roof of the destroyed Deir al‑Balah Municipality building amid strong winds and harsh weather conditions.

Al‑Basyouni was transferred to Al‑Aqsa Hospital and admitted to the intensive care unit, where medical teams urgently appealed for his evacuation abroad due to the seriousness of his condition. He later succumbed to his injuries.

The Gaza Ministry of Health said hospitals received fourteen Palestinians killed in the past twenty‑four hours, including two whose bodies were recovered from destroyed areas, along with eighteen injured.

The ministry noted that several victims remain under the rubble or in streets that emergency crews cannot reach due to ongoing fire and destroyed roads.

Since the ceasefire announced on 11 October 2025, the ministry has recorded 463 Palestinians killed, 1,269 injured, and 712 bodies recovered from beneath collapsed structures.

The cumulative toll since the beginning of Israel’s assault on 7 October 2023 has risen to 71,455 Palestinians killed and 171,347 injured.
