President Isaac Herzog spoke with the parents and girlfriend of Yehoshua (Josh) Bon, the soldier who served hundreds of days in the reserves during the war and was found dead at his home in Be’er Sheva on Sunday. “The defense establishment and the IDF must continue and deepen efforts in emotional support, accompaniment and strengthening the mental resilience of regular and reserve service members, with emphasis on lone soldiers who leave comfortable lives and come from afar without family support here in Israel, and for whom the burden is especially heavy,” he stated.
