Passengers affected by these changes will be automatically transferred to alternative flights and will receive proactive updates about this. They are also permitted to change their flight date to a later time. Lufthansa emphasizes that most flights scheduled for nighttime have been moved to daytime hours, and only a small number of flights have been canceled.
