Police arrested one of the participants in a riot at the Bedouin village of Mughamas in the Benjamin region the day before yesterday, during which about 30 Jewish rioters set fire to vehicles and tents, including with Molotov cocktails. At least six Palestinians were injured in the riot, and according to the IDF, there were also Israelis and foreign citizens among the wounded. The suspect was arrested after police located his vehicle, in which a weapon was found. His detention was extended yesterday until next Wednesday. His lawyer claimed, among other things, that his client was not present in the village during the riot and was in Jerusalem at that time.
