MADISON (WKOW) — The Madison Transportation Commission is advancing a resolution opposing expansion of the Beltline.
Commission members unanimously approved the resolution Wednesday, sending it to the Madison Common Council for consideration.
The resolution opposes measures such as widening the Beltline, adding additional lanes, weave structures, and building new overpasses. It also includes measures aimed at protecting green space surrounding the highway.
