The Alpes-Maritimes region is under a yellow alert for storms and avalanches on Friday, 23 January 2026.
Light rain will start in the morning, becoming heavier and stormy by evening, especially along the coast.
Storm warnings are in effect from 6pm until 3am the next day.
Temperatures will range from 0°C in the morning to 13°C in Menton during the day, with generally calm winds except for gusts up to 45 km/h between Antibes and Théoule-sur-Mer.
The avalanche alert remains active since the season began.Residents are advised to prepare for worsening weather throughout the day.
