Canon has published a behind-the-scenes with cinematographer Shana Hagan, ASC, where she uses the EOS C400, EOS C80, EOS C50, Flex Zooms, CN-R primes, and VCM Primes to create Visual – Little City Farm.

The shoot took place at Little City Farm, a small plot of land in suburban Los Angeles that teems with fruits, vegetables, and honey. The film highlights Jenny, the farm owner, who uses her home-grown ingredients in inventive recipes.

cinematographer Shana Hagan, ASC, set out to use multiple cameras to capture different looks and conditions.

The EOS C400 with Flex Zooms was used for a controlled, studio-like look. The shoot also utilized two EOS C80s with CNR primes. One was mounted on a gimbal, and the second was used for overhead shots.

An EOS C50 with VCM Primes allowed for unique angles, and Hagan utilized the camera’s 3×2 aspect ratio footage to intercut with the 17×9 images from the C400 and C80.
