Kylie Jenner’s surprise cameo in Charlie XCX’s new promotional video didn’t excite fans as expected — instead, the Kardashians star was slammed for smoking a cigarette in front of the camera and deemed “irresponsible.”
Jenner, 28, doesn’t show up until the final frame of the clip titled “Residue,” and when she does, she’s puffing on a cigarette. The mom of two can be seen wearing a white tank top and small black leather shorts as she comes into focus.
Fans weren’t thrilled with her appearance, and many took to the comments section on YouTube to express their annoyance.

“I don’t like that they are bringing smoking back. It’s a disgusting, unhealthy and smelly habit,” one person wrote.
Another added, “Also so irresponsible to smoke when she has younger fans.”
A third person simply described the habit as “gross,” while a fourth wrote, “Oh wow smoking so edgy.”

This wasn’t the first time Jenner has come under fire for lighting up. In 2023, shortly after she was linked to boyfriend Timothée Chalamet for the first time, a photo of the makeup mogul holding a cigarette and exhaling smoke went viral.
Fans quickly called her out on Reddit at the time, too.
“Imagine being so rich and smoking regular cigs. Eww,” one person said, while another person added, “Smoking is so disgusting. I don’t get why anyone would put that s**t in their mouth.”
