Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers carried out a series of new attacks on Wednesday across the northern Jordan Valley and Ramallah, in central West Bank, including invasions of Palestinian communities, the seizure of property, and the destruction of agricultural land.
Residents in Khirbet al‑Maleh in the northern Jordan Valley reported that a paramilitary colonizer invaded the community, provoking fear among families who have faced repeated harassment, serious violations, and attempts to force them from the area.
In a separate incident, colonizers seized a motorcycle belonging to Daoud Mansour Shaheen after assaulting him near the Atara military roadblock, north of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, Israeli colonizers attacked municipal employees from the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus.
Rana Abu Haniya, head of the Public Relations Department in Huwwara Municipality, stated that colonizers assaulted municipal engineers during a field tour to inspect the electricity network in the southern area of the town.
She added that the attackers fired shots into the air and that the engineers were detained for a period of time by the occupation forces.
Earlier in the day, colonizers uprooted 200 olive trees in Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah. Local sources said a group of colonizers sneaked into the As‑Sahl area of the town and destroyed the trees, which belonged to local farmers who rely on olive cultivation as a primary source of income.
Data from last year shows a sharp escalation in colonizer violence across the occupied West Bank.
Attacks by illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers in 2025 resulted in the killing of 14 Palestinians and the ignition of 434 fires targeting homes, agricultural fields, and civilian property.
The highest number of fires occurred in Ramallah governorate (181), followed by Nablus (79), Hebron (42), and Tulkarem (26).
These incidents were part of 892 documented colonizer attacks that caused the uprooting, burning, poisoning, or destruction of 35,273 trees, including 26,988 olive trees. The governorates of Ramallah, Bethlehem, Nablus, Hebron, and Salfit suffered the largest share of agricultural losses.
