Cardi B‘s long-awaited sophomore album is finally here — and Young Thug knows it.
In the early hours of Thursday, Sept. 18, Young Thug gave fans an update on X about the album UY Scuti that he was planning to release, but pushed it back in anticipation of Cardi’s Am I the Drama?, which came out on Friday, Sept. 19.
“Yall know I wasn’t dropping Friday. It’s a ladies day ❤️ do yo s— @iamcardib,” Young Thug, 34, wrote. Cardi B, 32, quoted his post, adding: “And you better step next week …you got this, You know this !!”
Young Thug — born Jeffery Lamar Williams II — previously revealed the release date for UY Scuti to be Sept. 19 in his music video for “Miss My Dogs,” which he released on Sept. 11.

Meanwhile, Am I the Drama? is Cardi’s first album since she released the Grammy winning album Invasion of Privacy in 2018. The 23-track album features artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Janet Jackson and Selena Gomez.
In support of her album, Cardi B — full name Belcalis Almánzar — is headed on tour through North America next year. “HELLO!! 🐦⬛ We putting the kids to bed early because the Little Miss Drama Tour is coming to a city near you!” she wrote on Instagram announcing the trek.
The “I Like It” musician, who announced on Sept. 17 that she is expecting her fourth child, told fans in an Instagram video about her plans to tour shortly after giving birth this winter.
“On Feb. 11, it will be the first day of my tour. Little Miss Drama. And let me tell y’all something. I want to let y’all know what headspace I’m in,” she said in the video shared on Sept. 18. “I want this s— real f—ing bad. I want this s— like I’m on the third floor in the Bronx and I need to get the f— on out. That’s how bad I want it.”

“Nothing and anything is stopping me,” added Cardi. “This is the hard part for me. I’ve been waking up at 6 a.m. and going to bed at 2 a.m.. I’ve been going overseas, I’ve done fashion shows, I’ve done music videos.”
This will be her first child with boyfriend Stefon Diggs.
