Samsung Electronics recently revealed an upgraded Samsung Care+ device protection service across 17 European markets. Locations in Europe, including the UK, can now benefit from unlimited repairs, longer coverage and an expanded walk-in repair network.
Customers will now be able to access unlimited accidental damage repairs for Galaxy smartphones, tablets, wearables and PCs, replacing the previous limit of two claims a year. Coverage has also been extended from three to five years, alongside 24-hour customer support.
The enhanced package also extends coverage to mechanical and electrical failures after the standard warranty period, as well as free battery replacements when device capacity falls below 80 per cent.
In addition, 175 new walk-in repair locations have been added across Europe, with more planned. A send-in repair option with arranged collection and delivery will remain available, with approved claims routed to a local Samsung-authorised service centre for repairs using original parts.
Richard Chang, corporate VP mobile division, Samsung UK & Ireland said this ensures “whether you’re at home or abroad, help is always nearby”, adding “device protection now matches a reality where people are always connected and on the move”.
The vendor also added a flexible monthly payment model offering up to 60 months of coverage, alongside a two-year upfront option. Customers can also opt for theft and loss protection, with a replacement device available within 48 hours of claim approval.
