She’s been Princess Peach. She’s been Alia Atreides. She’s been a Queen’s Gambit. Now get ready for Anya Taylor-Joy as you’ve never seen her before: Lucky. Based on The New York Times bestselling novel and Reese’s Book Club favorite, Lucky follows the titular con-artist on the run after a multi-million-dollar heist goes sideways. Lucky has been groomed from a young age to be a career criminal, learning the ins and outs from her father, played by Timothy Olyphant. Now she’s got the FBI, a ruthless crime boss, an all-star cast, and her past on her tail. Apple TV shared the first trailer for Lucky today, and it finally brings Joy back to the car-flipping fun of Furiosa.

The series co-stars Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, Drew Starkey, Clifton Collins, Jr., and William Fichtner, and is the second Apple series for Your Friends & Neighbors creator Jonathan Tropper. Trooper’s been riding high on streamers for the last few years, having made The Adam Project for Netflix and The Wrecking Crew for Prime Video, but Apple has helped him stand out in his collaborations with Shawn Levy. In addition to Adam Project, Tropper wrote This Is Where I Leave You and has the honor of writing the first Star Wars in years, Starfighter, which Levy is directing.

Lucky hits Apple TV with a two-episode premiere on July 15.
