Stellar Warfare is reigniting its candle to demonstrate progress toward the goal of full release on PC. The indie developer Tense Games has revealed that after over 10,000 hours of development, the studio is getting ready to post major updates to the game in a plan heading up to full release.
This upcoming update includes important improvements with meaningful impact to the game’s overall performance and in-game core features optimization:
New Homeworld-style camera (dynamic free-form 3D camera)
Height indicator system optimization
General improvements in the AI
Seamless switching between the available types of cameras
The game has now over 200 ship frames, modules and weapons
“We’re doing preparations this year to get all the necessary updates in place so we can launch the full release for Stellar Warfare” said Tense Games founder, Thomas Van den Essenburg.
The release date for this upcoming update patch is still to be announced, but it is confirmed nonetheless that it will come very soon. Follow-up news will also arrive once this initial “road to full release” update drops.
