Get ready for the International Olympic Committee to add a sixth opalite ring to the logo. Taylor Swift sent a video to NBC to support the Olympians ahead of the Milano Cortina opening ceremony. “I just wanted to send a message to all the athletes that are competing in the Olympics,” she said in the video as the instrumental for her new single, “Opalite,” played in the background. “Thank you. Getting to learn your stories and see everything that you’ve sacrificed, and all your determination and hard work and passion. Everything that’s gotten you to this point where you’re so excellent at something, it’s just really inspiring.”

During the last Olympics, the Games put out a promo set to Swift’s song “Ready for It?” with narration from the singer. This time, she spoke directly to the camera. “I just hope you have a wonderful Olympic Games,” she said. “Wishing you all the best of luck, a safe journey, and I hope that this is an experience that you will cherish for the rest of your life.” Then the video ended, and the announcers noted that “Opalite” is her new single with a music video out today. Olympic watchers — go check out Domhnall Gleeson!
