Israeli forces invaded multiple areas of the occupied West Bank on Friday, seriously shooting a child near occupied Jerusalem, and shooting a young man near Hebron, abducting Palestinians in a series of continued invasions and violations.
Three Young Men Abducted in Nabi Saleh, Northwest of Ramallah
Local sources reported that Israeli forces invaded the village of Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank, and abducted three young men: Mohannad Issam Tamimi, Basel Azmi Tamimi, and Mahmoud Wajih Tamimi.
Witnesses said soldiers beat and assaulted the three in the village’s hill area before taking them away.
Child Shot in al‑‘Eizariya, East of Occupied Jerusalem
A 15‑year‑old boy from the nearby town of Abu Dis was shot and critically injured when an undercover Israeli unit in an unmarked vehicle opened fire at a group of children and teenagers near the Annexation Wall in the al‑Qanater area of al‑‘Eizariya, east of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate stated that Israeli forces prevented ambulance crews and residents from reaching the wounded child for more than an hour, imposing a military cordon around the area. Paramedics were eventually allowed to provide first aid and transfer him to a medical center.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society later confirmed that its teams treated a child shot with live ammunition in the thigh and transported him to hospital.
Invasion of Masafer Yatta; One Man Abducted
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the communities of al‑Markaz and Jinba in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
Media activist Osama Makhamra said soldiers broke into homes, searched them, and fired stun grenades at residents before abducting Munir Fadel Rabea’ from Jinba village.
Live‑Fire Injury During Invasion of Sa’ir, Northeast of Hebron
A 20‑year‑old man was injured by shrapnel from live ammunition during an Israeli invasion of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said the man sustained injuries to his hands and legs and was transferred to hospital.
Earlier in the evening, soldiers fired live rounds and tear gas during the invasion, causing several residents to suffer from inhalation of toxic gas.
Mass Abductions in Azzun, East of Qalqilia
In one of the largest invasions of the day, Israeli forces invaded the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank, and abducted 21 Palestinians.
Local sources said soldiers closed all entrances and exits to the town, broke into numerous homes, conducted extensive searches, damaged property, and interrogated residents in the streets before taking multiple detainees.
Those abducted were identified as: Hassan Huwwari, Mustafa Hassan Huwwari, Hazem Salim, Mutawakkil Radwan, Mohammad Khaled Radwan, Wissam Hussein, Imad Shbeita, Shahin Imad Shbeita, Bilal Ghanawi, Wadea’ Bilal Ghanawi, Ayham Bilal Ghanawi, Wadea’ Ismail Radwan, Essam Rashid Radwan, Tamer al‑Daksh, Mohammad Mahmoud Ghanawi, Nidal Hussein, and Samir Shbeita, in addition to four young men from Qalqilia city who were present in Azzun, including Adam al‑Baghdadi.
Two Men Abducted in Deir Ballut, West of Salfit
In the central West Bank, Israeli forces abducted two residents from the western area of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit.
Local sources identified them as the town’s mayor, Samir Nimir Qara’oush, and Hamada Abdul‑Wahhab Abdullah. Soldiers invaded the western neighborhood, broke into homes, and took both men without providing further information.
Soldiers Attack Shepherd Near TubasÂ
Israeli forces assaulted a Palestinian man on Friday while he was herding livestock in the village of ‘Atouf, southeast of Tubas in the northern occupied West Bank.
Abdullah Bisharat, head of the ‘Atouf Village Council, said that Israeli soldiers attacked ‘Ayed Bani ‘Odah while he was grazing his livestock, and forced him to leave the land.
Earlier Friday, the army carried out widespread invasions across the occupied West Bank, breaking into homes, installing military roadblocks, firing toxic tear gas, and abducting many Palestinians, including a journalist.
