It seems the reported feud between Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump may be going strong, and the timing of Ivanka’s latest decisions.
Instead of attending Melania’s movie premiere, Ivanka forgoed it entirely and stepped out on Feb 5 for a charity event in honor of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. However, many quickly noticed what she was wearing: a sparkling white fringe dress that her late mother, Ivana Trump, wore at the 25th Anniversary Party for Studio 54 in 2002.

She posted a photo of herself in the dress on Instagram with the caption reading, “Twenty years. Over $50 million raised. Countless children given hope. Last night was a testament to my brother @erictrump big heart and unwavering commitment to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. And though our mother is no longer with us, her spirit filled the room … I felt her especially close, wearing a dress that once belonged to her. Mom would have been so proud of you baby brother ! Legacy isn’t just what we build, but the love we carry forward. 🤍”
The mix of not attending Melania’s documentary, Melania, on Jan 30, 2026 and re-wearing a dress from her late mom shows where she stands.
Insiders previously spoke to Rob Shuter’s Substack about the incidents, saying, “Melania and Ivanka do not get along — not at all. There’s real tension, and Melania made it clear she didn’t want Ivanka anywhere near this film.”
And this feud has been in the news for years. In fact, Melania even spoke about her apparent frosty relationship in her memoir. According to an excerpt obtained by The Daily Beast, Melania noted, “While I do not agree with every opinion or choice expressed by Donald’s grown children, nor do I align with all of Donald’s decisions, I acknowledge that differing viewpoints are a natural aspect of human relationships,”
