Gabrielle Union and her daughter Kaavia embraced an adorable mom-daughter style moment on Friday night.The 7-year-old and her mom wore matching dresses for a rare red carpet appearance at the Goat premiere.Union’s husband Dwayne Wade also stepped out for the family event.

Gabrielle Union’s daughter Kaavia was literally her mini-me as the lookalike duo made a rare red carpet appearance together on Friday night. The Bring It On alum made the Goat Los Angeles premiere a family affair, posing with husband Dwayne Wade and the 7-year-old—and Kaavia had fans doing a double take with an adorable twinning style moment.

The toddler was her mom’s carbon copy as she stepped out at AMC Century City in a mini version of Union’s cutout minidress. Kaavia and Union put their own twist on mother-daughter dressing, both wearing short-sleeved animal print dresses with a black ruched accent on the stomach. However, the Think Like a Man actress’s version had a few key differences, thanks to a midriff-baring stomach cutout, as well as an orange tiger print top and a tan cheetah print skirt in contrast toKaavia’s bright blue tiger print bodice and light turquoise cheetah print skirt.

Posing together on the red carpet, Union ditched her recent bob haircut in favor of long braids that she styled into a high ponytail with face-framing pieces, showing off her glowing complexion and a bold smoky eye. The star embraced warm-weather style a little early, putting a twist on a polarizing footwear style with heeled flip-flops. She finished off her look with a pair of black thong-style sandals that added several inches to her stature, a bangle bracelet, and stud earrings. Meanwhile, Kaavia opted for black Mary Jane-style ballet flats, and styled her black hair in a voluminous high ponytail.

The duo also posed with Dwayne Wade on the red carpet, and the former professional basketball player shared a tongue-in-cheek message of support for his wife by bringing in a real goat for group photos.

Kaavia is already becoming a film premiere pro, last stepping out with her mom at the Descendants: The Rise of Red world premiere in July 2024. However, Union previously revealed that Kaavia’s very first red carpet appearances at the 2019 Kid’s Choice Sports Awards didn’t go so smoothly. In an April 2025 interview with People, the star revealed that the then-8-month-old peed on her when her diaper didn’t hold. However, the red carpet accident appeared to be a mixed blessing, as it inspired Union and Wade to create their Proudly company.Â
