A new report from Overclocking.com claims that industry sources close to NVIDIA believe Team Green is working on a new RTX Titan or RTX 5090 Ti-level GPU, or whatever name NVIDIA comes up with. Apparently, it will sit above the current RTX 5090 and may draw much higher wattage to deliver ultimate performance.

People over at Overclocking.com believe it is more than just a rumor, as five to six different sources made similar claims, leading them to believe something solid is in the works.

However, as this is still an unconfirmed report, take this with a grain of salt.

Overclocking.com is a well-respected French hardware site with great PC industry sources, so it is usually quite reliable. According to this site (Google Translated):

“A very high-end RTX 50 graphics card is reportedly in development, and its release is even scheduled for the back-to-school season (i.e., the beginning of the third quarter of this year). The manufacturing process has apparently already begun (design and other stages). The arrival of this card is said to be unrelated to the “SUPER” series (which are no longer on the 2026 roadmap).:

Essentially, NVIDIA is reportedly working on a higher-end/flagship GPU in the RTX 50 series family and targeting a release for back-to-school season this year or Q3 2026. Overclocking.com mentioned that this graphics card won’t be part of the RTX 50 Super series, which has been pushed to 2027. It also mentioned that the manufacturing process of this RTX Titan card has already begun.

The last time Team Green made a Titan-class GPU was in 2018 with the release of the NVIDIA TITAN RTX based on the Turing architecture. In the next generation, the company released the RTX 3090 Ti. Therefore, it’s unclear whether NVIDIA will name this upcoming graphics card RTX Titan or RTX 5090 Ti, that is, if the report of this mysterious GPU is actually true.
