Delaware Life Insurance Company, a Group 1001 company, will return as the primary partner for the No. 28 Honda entry driven by Andretti Global’s Marcus Ericsson starting at the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season opener on the Streets of St. Petersburg.
The season opens Sunday, March 1 with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg (noon ET, FOX, FOX One, FOX Deportes, FOX Sports app, INDYCAR Radio Network).
Former Formula One driver Ericsson, from Sweden, is starting his third season with the Andretti team. He won the 2022 Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge while driving for Chip Ganassi Racing.
“I’m really excited to have Delaware Life back,” Ericsson said. “They’ve partnered with me for many races over the last two years and have always been a great company to represent. I’m looking forward to getting to St. Pete and kicking off the season.”
Delaware Life is a leading provider of annuity and life insurance products and has been a partner of the Andretti INDYCAR program since 2018. Most recently, Delaware Life joined Ericsson and the No. 28 Honda on track at five races in the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season.
“Delaware Life is excited to ride along with Marcus Ericsson and the No. 28 team at Andretti this INDYCAR season,” said Colin Lake, president and CEO, Delaware Life Marketing. “It’s an honor to bring our clients to the track and provide them with a memorable race day event; having Delaware Life as the primary sponsor elevates the experience even further. We wish Marcus and his team the best of luck this season, and we look forward to cheering on the No. 28 car with our clients at the track soon.”
