Route 4 near Bnei Brak and the Geha Junction has reopened to traffic after being blocked for approximately three and a half hours due to a Haredi protest against the arrest of draft evaders. Police arrested nine rioters who threw stones and pyrotechnic devices at officers. During the protest, two police officers were injured and protesters smashed the windows of a police vehicle. Additionally, police stated they were forced to “use means and force to extract vehicles that were caught in the protest.”
