Halle Berry and Chris Hemsworth made an appearance at the Crime 101 world premiere at the United Theater on Broadway in Los Angeles.
The premiere of the film adaptation of the Don Winslow novella also featured Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Liam Hemsworth, Tate Donovan, and Bart Layton.
Amazon MGM Studios is set to release the film theatrically on February 13.
Crime 101 is a thriller written and directed by Bart Layton. The film revolves around jewel thief Mike Davis (Hemsworth), whose heists along the 101 freeway leave police baffled. When he sets his sights on the ultimate score, his plans intersect with those of insurance broker Sharon Colvin (Berry). Detective Lou Lubesnick (Mark Ruffalo) believes he has cracked Mike’s pattern and is determined to bring him down before the next job.
The film also stars Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Nick Nolte, Tate Donovan, Devon Bostick, Payman Maadi, Babak Tafti, Deborah Hedwell, Paul Adelstein, Drew Powell, Matthew del Negro, and John Douglas.
Crime 101 producers are Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner; The Story Factory’s Shane Salerno; RAW’s Layton and Dimitri Doganis; Derrin Schlesinger; and Wild State’s Hemsworth and Ben Grayson. RAW’s Joely Fether will executive produce.
