With a design inspired by the iconic Fujica Single-8 film camera from 1965, the instax mini Evo Cinema™ is the new 3-in-1 hybrid camera launched by FUJIFILM Europe, Imaging Solutions Division. This camera provides one of the most dynamic creative experiences instax™ has ever offered: it takes photos, records videos, and can also be used as a printer for the photos already stored on the smartphone.
“It combines the vintage look of an 8mm film camera with all the modern features of a hybrid instant camera that now integrates photos, videos, and printing into a single product. The mini Evo Cinema™ offers a seamless and unique photography experience, giving users many ways to transform casual moments into unforgettable ones.” says Shin Udono, Senior Vice President, Imaging Solutions, FUJIFILM Europe.

The hybrid model is designed to merge analog-inspired tactile sensations and modern functionality in a timeless, elegant design. Featuring a black color scheme with green accents, the product is available with several accessories: a built-in mirror for selfies and self-portraits, viewfinders, support grips, and a shoulder strap. The analog zoom lever allows users to zoom in or out without interrupting the creative flow.
The camera is equipped with a high-resolution 1.54-inch LCD, which ensures a clear preview, and a vintage-style print lever. Lifting and rotating produce a distinctive “click” sound, providing an authentic, hands-on experience.

Among the many features of the FUJIFILM instax mini Evo Cinema™ is the Eras Dial™, which allows you to apply photographic effects from 10 different eras to your images: from the muted tones of the 1930s, to the 1960s effect inspired by 8mm film cameras, to the vibrant colors of the 1980s and the sharp images of the 2020s. Videos are captured at 800 x 600 pixels, while the Era 2020 selection allows for 1440 x 1080 pixels.
The Degree Control Dial, located on the lens, allows users to fine-tune color, contrast, and noise with one of the 10 available effects. By combining the various adjustment levels, you can achieve up to 100 different creative expressions for your photos and videos.

With Frame Switch, users can continue customizing by adding a frame to each shot or clip. Like the previous dials, this function offers a time-specific solution that honors the specific characteristics, media, and playback devices of the selected historical period.
The “CINE” and “STILL” modes make it easy to capture video and photos, respectively. In the former, users can shoot a series of clips – for a total duration of up to 15 seconds – and the camera will automatically stitch them together into one seamless video. Using the instax mini Evo™ smartphone app, users can connect via Bluetooth® and extend their 30-second video creations by adding or rearranging clips.

The most innovative aspect is the dedicated shooting function: the camera allows users to extract a frame from a video and print it along with a QR code – instax™ mini instant film, sold separately, is required for this option. By scanning the code with their phone, they can instantly review the original video.
The device is not just a physical product, but also a digital one. It can be connected to the instax mini Evo™ app via Bluetooth®. In addition to allowing remote shooting, the “My Gallery” section offers users a dedicated space to store their images and videos, sorted into categories: “Favorites, Prints, Videos, Photos, and Projects.” This feature also allows you to digitally save printed images to your smartphone’s camera roll, adding the iconic instax™ mini frame.
Available from the end of January 2026, the instax mini Evo Cinema™ hybrid instant camera will be available on the market at a suggested retail price of €389.99
