The United States announced it struck over 30 Islamic State targets in Syria from February 3-12, including infrastructure and weapons storage sites, US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated on Saturday.

According to CENTCOM, US forces hit the targets across 10 strikes using precision munitions delivered by fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and unmanned aircraft.

The strikes are a part of the larger Operation Hawkeye Strike, which was launched on December 13, 2025, in response to attacks on US forces in Syria’s Palmyra, which resulted in the death of two US servicemembers.

“More than 50 ISIS terrorists have been killed or captured and over 100 ISIS infrastructure targets have been struck with hundreds of precision munitions during two months of targeted operations,” the CENTCOM statement said.

CENTCOM noted that the strikes came after an earlier round of five strikes from January 27 to February 2 on an ISIS communication facility, logistics node, and weapons storage sites.

Separately on Saturday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani and Syrian Democratic Forces commander Mazloum Abdi on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, the US State Department said.

Rubio stressed the importance of implementing a permanent ceasefire and an integration agreement in northeast Syria and welcomed the Syrian government’s commitment to fully cooperate with the United States.
