Drama levels in the Love Island All Stars villa have escalated dramatically, with a heated challenge broadcast on Friday evening intensifying existing friction between contestants.
Maya Jama entered the villa to oversee a game entitled To Be Honest, during which Islanders were required to identify couples they believed best matched various categories. These ranged from biggest game players to most likely to cheat.
During scenes broadcast last night (February 13), Lucinda and Sean found themselves repeatedly selected across multiple categories and became involved in numerous heated exchanges with fellow contestants. Friction also erupted between Whitney and Sher, as well as Belle and Scott, throughout the activity.
Numerous viewers have labelled the episode an “uncomfortable” viewing experience, which culminated in presenter Maya being forced to halt proceedings and step in after Lucinda fled in tears, reports OK!

In the moment immediately before Lucinda’s startling departure, new arrival Jessy remarked to her: “It’s lovely that you’ve come in here for the fourth time Lucinda because I think you’ve shown your true colours of who you really are on the outside and I’m happy that’s being shown.”
“That was just mean,” Sean hit back, adding: “You guys are just way too serious.”
As Lucinda withdrew herself from the situation, Samie commented: “Of course she’s running away, it’s a PR stunt,” whilst Belle mimicked Lucinda’s departure, stating: “It’s giving PR.”

Maya paused the game and rushed to check on Lucinda, finding her in tears inside the villa. Lucinda confessed that she felt it “was me against the world in this place.”
Maya comforted her, saying “you’re not going to get on with everyone” and encouraged her to focus on the positive relationship she had with Sean.
Lucinda’s family have since responded following the episode, posting a statement on the star’s official Instagram page. They stated: “Keep your head high our Lucinda. You are stronger than you know and we’re all so proud.”

Reality TV enthusiasts took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the villa happenings. One worried viewer commented: “It’s getting uncomfortable to watch. Never seen Maya having to step in like that. I can’t wait for Lucinda to see all the support she has.”
A second wrote: “I really feel for her. All of them shouting at her at the same time. Only Sean defending her. I honestly think she laughs because she’s nervous or uncomfortable.”
Another declared: “Ohhh Lucinda we’re rooting for you! Love island should be held accountable for letting everyone bully.”
