The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may be imminent, but that doesn’t mean you should forget about the Galaxy S25 Ultra. There’s a lot to love about the (still) current flagship, and when you get the chance to save some money, you should probably take advantage of that.

Right now, you can pick up the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra for as little as $949 in the Best Buy Presidents’ Day sale. That’s $350 off the normal price, though you will have to sign on with Verizon or AT&T, with the unlocked model instead costing $1,049.

Galaxy S26 Ultra, but a lot of what we might not be in store for such a big upgrade — and the ones we do get are going to come with a suitably high price tag.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is still one of the best phones, and offers a lot of the same things Samsung is expected to bring to the S26 Ultra. Which is why the fact it’s available with up to $350 off is such a big deal

One of our favorite things about the S25 Ultra is the camera. The phone ranks highly on our list of the best camera phones for a reason, producing high-quality photos and videos — complete with advanced AI editing features to help make the final product even better. Though we felt the macro performance could be a little better.

Battery life is exceptional as well, lasting 17 hours and 14 minutes in our custom testing. It may not be quite as much as the iPhone 16 Pro Max (17 hours 35 minutes) of the OnePlus 13 (almost 20 hours), but that still makes it one of the longest-lasting phones you can buy right now. Plus, there’s the large 6.9-inch display, which registered peak brightness of 1,860 nits and the 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Samsung phone without the suite of AI features, and Galaxy AI offers some of the best around. Not only does it feature the best AI Google Gemini has to offer, but you also get extra Samsung-only tools like AI Select, cross-app actions and the Now Brief, which offers personalized summaries throughout the day.

Of course, you also get Samsung staples like the S Pen stylus, and newer features like Qi2 wireless charging — though you will need a suitable case for any magnetic accessories and chargers that catch your eye.
