U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration is planning to recruit crime organizations and drug dealers from the Gaza Strip into a new police force that will operate there, as part of the plan formulated by the president and his team, The Telegraph reported. According to several Western sources who spoke with The Telegraph, the U.S. administration has presented its plans regarding the new force, which would be based on Gaza militias that oppose Hamas. According to the report, Israel, which arms some of these militias, supports the American proposals. However, it was noted that senior American commanders have expressed opposition to including militia members in the new force, which would receive support from Washington.
