They Know
Deadline reports Bill Hader will make his feature directorial debut with They Know, a horror film he also plans to star in. Based on an original story co-created with his Barry collaborator, Duffy Boudreau, the story centers on “a divorced dad (Hader) who grows suspicious that his ex-wife is secretly dating a mysterious man who is having a strange influence on their children.”
Scary Movie 6
According to Bloody-Disgusting, a trailer for Scary Movie 6 will be be attached to prints of Scream 7 this February 27.
KPop Demon Hunters 2
Speaking to Bloomberg, director and screenwriter Maggie Chang gave a vague update on when work will actually start on the animated sequel, which is currently estimated for a 2029 release date.
I can’t really say that officially, but I would say… in a world that loves sequels, I don’t think it’s a surprise that something else could be coming. It’s going to be a long wait for anything because, unfortunately, animation just takes a long time. Although this awards run has been amazing and fun, I just can’t wait to dive right back into another movie and to figure something out, you know, for the world to share. I’m sure that’s what a lot of people hope.

Horror producer Roy Lee has told Dread Central that A24’s plans for a Texas Chainsaw TV show could lean into showing the early days of Leatherface’s rise to infamy.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Variety reports Ming-Na Wen, Jennifer Beals, and Hubert Smielecki have joined the cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians‘ third season. Wen will play Hera, while Beals has been cast as Demeter. Smielecki is said to play Apollo.
