This week Netflix launches a new animated comedy, Strip Law, starring Severance’s Adam Scott, and one of Britain’s biggest culinary stars gets the documentary treatment in Being Gordon Ramsay. The superb thriller Yellowjackets arrives on ITV, there’s steamy drama on Prime Video’s 56 Days and The Night Agent is back for a third series starring Gabriel Basso.
Being Gordon Ramsay (Netflix)
Netflix has built somewhat of a cottage industry from making documentary series about British celebrities in the past few years — with the singer Lewis Capaldi, the footballer David Beckham (and his wife Victoria) all getting series alongside Robbie Williams and Take That. This time it’s the turn of the chef, entrepreneur and TV presenter Gordon Ramsay, who has made a name for himself on both sides of the Atlantic as a straight-talking gourmet. The series follows Ramsay, his wife and family through a year of his life as he attempts to pull off a culinary coup and open a shiny new restaurant project atop a skyscraper overlooking London.

Available on Paramount+ and Netflix in the US
Set across two timelines two decades apart, this superb thriller series follows the story of a group of high school soccer players whose plane crashed in 1996 while flying over remote Canada. They were undiscovered for 19 months, and we see how their plight unfolded during that traumatic time and the lengths they had to go to in order to survive. Simultaneously we see the survivors in modern times, still coming to terms with the scars of their experiences as teenagers.
The Night Agent (Netflix)
The streaming spy hit has become a global sensation since it first introduced the FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) to the small screen in 2023. It’s now on its third series and with the conspiracy building around him, Sutherland is on the move from Istanbul to Mexico on the trail of dark money after a young Treasury agent kills their boss and flees with sensitive information. Can Sutherland save the day again? You wouldn’t bet against him.
56 Days (Prime Video)
Based on Catherine Ryan Howard’s novel of the same name, this steamy thriller stars Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia as Ciara Wyse and Oliver Kennedy, a couple who start an intense relationship after meeting in a supermarket. However, things take a turn for the deadly when 56 days later the police get involved when an unidentifiable body is found and we learn more about what happened during the turbulent period the couple were together.
Strip Law (Netflix)
After the huge success of the hit adult animation BoJack Horseman, Netflix will be looking to deliver another cult classic with this latest foray into the genre with this new comedy starring Severance’s Adam Scott alongside Janelle James and Stephen Root. Set in Sin City, the show is based around the practice of an uptight Las Vegas lawyer who brings a magician into his business to add a new level of excitement and pizzazz to his legal firm.
