Annie of rookie K-pop group AllDay Project — also known as a granddaughter of South Korean retail conglomerate Shinsegae Chairwoman Lee Myung-hee — has addressed fans who felt intimidated after watching her high-achieving daily life content, saying the videos show only the “cool and pretty” parts of her routine.

The singer, who recently returned to Columbia University, shared a vlog-style video on her personal social media showing a packed schedule of classes, workouts, and self-care. The clip quickly drew admiration online, with fans commenting that her “god-tier productivity” and discipline were inspiring — but also difficult to match.
Responding on a fan communication platform, Annie expressed concern that younger followers might compare themselves negatively.
“I wanted to say something,” she said. “If you only watch the videos I post or what I share on DayOff, it can look like I’m always doing something fun, exercising, and living diligently every day.”
“It’s great if DayOnes, especially younger fans, feel motivated,” she said. “But I hope you don’t compare yourself and think, ‘Why can’t I spend my days like that?’ When I was younger, I often watched similar videos and compared myself, thinking, ‘They’re living so diligently — why can’t I?’ That made me feel more down.”
Annie said her social media content is intentionally selective. “I only include the pretty and cool parts of my life in videos, and there are far more days that aren’t like that,” she said. “I also have many days where I do nothing and just stay in bed. Even today, it was the first time in two days that I got out of bed after feeling unmotivated.”
She added that small steps helped her mood. “I felt like I couldn’t keep going like that, so I exercised and did skincare after a few days, and it felt refreshing and really good,” she said.

She closed by reaffirming her intentions toward fans. “DayOnes are probably much smarter than me and may not think that way, but just in case,” she said. “I want to be good motivation for them.”
Annie is the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group honorary chair Lee Myung-hee and the eldest daughter of Shinsegae president Chung Yoo-kyung. She is currently majoring in art history and visual arts at Columbia University and recently returned for the spring semester, which runs through May.
