On Saturday, 8/21 February 2026, His Beatitude, our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III, received:

Mr Konstantinos Kefalogiannis, a pilgrim from Crete, together with two Romanian Priests.

Thereafter, His Beatitude received Mr Kougios, another pilgrim from Rhodes.

Subsequently, His Beatitude received a large group of pilgrims from Greece, Serbia, and Romania. He blessed them and addressed them on the spiritual meaning of pilgrimage, as well as on the crucifying and resurrectional significance of the City of Jerusalem, which welcomed upon its soil our Crucified and Risen Lord Jesus Christ. He noted that Jerusalem constitutes the embodiment of the mystery of the Incarnation and the guarantee of the unity of the Churches.

His Beatitude then received Fr Gregory, Head of the Community of Tarshiha in Northern Israel, together with three members of the Parish Council, regarding matters concerning their parish.

He also received Fr Athanasios from the Holy Metropolis of Nazareth.

Finally, he received the parents of Mr Nikolaos Chouri, translator into the Arabic language for the Patriarchate’s website, together with Mr Osama Haloun.
