Zara Larsson Said She Doesn't Listen To Chris Brown Because He's An "Abuser" — And He Seemingly Responded

Zara Larsson has an eclectic music taste, with the Swedish pop singer listening to a broad range of artists from Beyoncé and Lady Gaga to ABBA and PARTYNEXTDOOR — but one artist you won’t find in her music library is Chris Brown.

When the interviewer played Kid Ink’s “Hotel,” featuring Chris, Zara quickly swiped right after learning he was on the song. “Hell no!” she said. While she didn’t directly name any specific incidents, Chris has faced many public controversies in the past. They include his 2009 assault on Rihanna, for which he received five years of probation and 1,400 hours in “labor-oriented service”; a five-year restraining order from his ex Karrueche Tran after she went public with abuse claims in 2017, which Chris called “bullshit,” and more than a dozen other legal issues. Chris didn’t directly respond then or now, but he did share a cryptic Instagram post shortly after Zara’s latest interview. He wrote, “Walk in YO PEACE. LET THEM SEE THEMSELVES.
